Windows Development Setup

For some development tasks it is necessary to work directly on windows (not WSL).

You can use the build-in RDP client in Gnome (Gnome Connections) to remotely access your Windows desktop. This needs to be enabled from the admin account.

1. Install VSCode: https://code.visualstudio.com/
2. JavaScript:

3. Create SSH key and add to Gitea

• The first time you run a web application or an electron app in development mode, the Windows Firewall will warn you as the npm dev server wants to listen on the internal network. This only happens in development.
